Our History
We began our journey in County Cork, Republic of Ireland, expanded to Dublin, and now proudly operate in Kent, UK.
Runway Modelling Academy was established in 2008 by Tolu Omoyele (also known as Tai) as a scouting and confidence-boosting workshop specifically designed for young Irish girls interested in fashion and creative expressions. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant community dedicated to empowering young people aged 13 and up to discover their confidence, creativity, and self-expression through runway modelling.
We have partnered and collaborated with a diverse range of organisations, businesses, designers, NGOs, consulates, and schools to deliver inclusive training, mentorship, and opportunities. Notable UK partnerships include the Pow of Women Festival and the Medway African Caribbean Association, reflecting our commitment to community engagement and empowerment.
One of our girls went on to win Poland’s Next Top Model, a testament to the real impact of our confidence training and mentoring programs.
At Runway Modelling Academy, we believe confidence is the key to unlocking potential, and we are committed to guiding young people on that transformative journey.
With Love, RMA
